All members of the band, being lovers of the blues genre, noticed a deficit of blues in the Berkshires that focus on the multitude of talented and influential female performers. Misty Blues pays homage to the older blues music made popular by the bold and brassy women of its time, while still paying respect to the more contemporary female artist that carry on their rich traditions:

MISTY BLUES IN NEW ORLEANS
Great News!!! Misty Blues has been selected out of 1000’s of
national bands to perform at a showcase for the Cutting Edge Music Conference
in New Orleans September 26-29. Unfortunately, this performance doesn’t cover
any expenses. We would hate to miss out on such an amazing opportunity. If we
were to raise a minimum of $7000, all six of us can participate in this
event. We are calling on our fans for support.
It would only take 70 people to donate $100, or 140 people to donate $50, or
280 people to donate $25. Obviously, we would accept any donation amount towards
this endeavor.
We have sent up a Pay Pal account to manage the donations.
All donations must come in no later than August 20th. If we are not
close to our financial needs by that date, all donations will be refunded.
